"Maverick went above and beyond to make our house look great. When something did not look right, they talked to us about it and fixed it, no questions asked. They truly wanted to complete a project that they would be proud of and one we would love. They would come up with ideas that we would never had thought of to make things come together better. Maverick sent us to great suppliers and helped us pick flooring, countertops, appliances, etc.. We picked a backsplash and after it was installed, Adam said it was a bad product and did not look good. We agreed, and Adam had us pick a new backsplash. Maverick took out the old backsplash (and told the supplier not to sell this again) and reinstalled the new backsplash that looks great. This is the type of service Maverick provided. And they did all these things with no change to the contract. I do not think many companies would do that.
Matt kept in constant contact with us to make sure we knew what was going on and to make sure we had no issues or questions. He was responsive to everything and pushed us to ask questions, all to make sure we were 100% happy with everything.
I will use Maverick in the future and I would recommend them to everyone."

"I selected Maverick Home Remodeling, owned and operated by Adam Berlin, for a series of bathroom remodels in early 2014. This was my first experience with a contractor doing a job of this magnitude so I approached it cautiously, taking my time to interview several contractors and doing research on Angie’s List, Denver Home and Garden Show, The Better Business Bureau, and web searches.
One thing that immediately impressed me with Maverick was their approach to estimating the amount of work required to do a job. Instead of giving me a “ballpark” number and a general description of what would be done, Adam prepared a series of quotes with the detail dependent on the stage of decision making in the project. This culminated with a final firm quote that listed in detail all work to be performed, all parts to be installed, and a firm understanding that all additional work would be agreed to in writing and estimated separately, i.e. no hidden costs, no mis-communication, and no surprises.
All bathrooms were a complete tear-out of existing cabinetry and fixtures. One basement bathroom required routing of new plumbing lines in a concrete floor, running a new electrical circuit, new venting, and a new floor plan including moving a wall. A new bathtub/shower with custom tile walls was installed along with a new toilet, cabinetry, mirror, lighting, fixtures, sink, new dry wall, painting, and a tile floor.
The next bathroom was half-bath and required a new toilet, cabinetry, fixtures, lighting, a large basin sink, and a mirror. The last bathroom was the most work and consisted of removal of a wall, tear-out of an existing bathtub/shower and replacement with a custom walk-in shower, repair of floor tile, replacement of all fixtures including installation of a vessel sink, installation of a lighted mirror, general lighting, replacement of all cabinetry, and a new toilet.
I am very satisfied with all of the work performed by Maverick. All work was done according to the quote and is of very high workmanship. Adam and his team put a lot of effort into working around my busy schedule, and took great care when working in my house to keep everything as clean as possible considering the amount and type of work being performed. All of his workers were very considerate of our home life and always let us know when they would be working and where.
Adam is very responsive to all communication and returns email and phone calls promptly regardless of whether it is in the day, evening, or on weekends. He is very patient and clear when answering a wide range of questions about every stage of work, and Adam clearly communicated the schedule of events and worked diligently to minimize the impact to our home.

"We love the layout, location and neighbors of our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom/2 car garage ranch town house (end unit) with an unfinished basement which was built in 1996. With that being said, other than a few lighting fixtures and older window coverings, most of the interior was original to 1996 (including the builder’s flat white wall paint) and it was in desperate need of a complete interior face-lift.
We had not used a general contractor before, but wanted to use a reputable, professional and local company and we found that in Maverick Home Remodeling Inc. It took approximately six months from demo through contact closing sign-off and there were a few bumps in the road along the way, which are to be expected with so many moving parts with multiple suppliers/vendors, special orders and sub-contractors. However, many more things went right and smoothly than not and when there were delays or unexpected changes, Adam and/or Bill (our assigned Project Manager) were very good at communicating those, making work schedule adjustments and keeping the balls juggled in the air so to speak.
Additionally, they did a few thoughtful and good business practice apologies/compensations like a gift card to Chili’s when our kitchen was out of use longer than anticipated and a beautiful flower arrangement around the holidays when there were some other flooring and sliding glass door delays.
We had all rooms/ceilings completely painted, both bathrooms remodeled, granite countertops installed in the kitchen and bathrooms, backsplash in kitchen, new sink, all new plumbing fixtures throughout, new carpet and lots of tile work for flooring and bathrooms and a new gas direct-vent fireplace installed (including surrounding tile work and a mantle). There was a cool smaller built-in desk designed to make a corner area in our living room much more functional and stylish too. All other hardware was switched from the dated brass to brushed nickel throughout the house.
Their sub-contractors are top-notch. Dean did incredible tile work. Shawn and crew did a great job on the granite work. Jeremy is the most meticulous interior painter, we have ever encountered. We decided to keep the existing cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, but they were re-stained with hardware added. We get asked often if the cabinets are new too, so that’s saying something. A shout out to Sergio and his brother Pablo for their work on those.
Through Maverick’s contracts, we worked with Sales Reps/Designers at Floor Club (Jessica was exceptional) and Rampart Plumbing (nicer end selections) and the staff at Granite Imports were knowledgeable and helpful. Kathy at Home Clearance Center was wonderful with the built-in desk and cabinetry stain selections.
It was great to have Adam and Matt (contract closing/warranty work) manage on the various contract quoting phases and other business operations and have Bill coordinate the work projects as well as sub-contractors. Kelly did a professional job on our before and after photos. It was nice to have a binder of all of the work, paperwork and photos.
So far, we have had a couple of minor warranty work issues that have come up and Maverick has been very responsive. We get compliments on our renewed home all the time and have recommended Maverick’s services to our friends. We are happy to finally have all the boxes unpacked, belongings back in place and pictures rehung so we can sit back, relax and enjoy it all. We highly recommend Maverick for a “one-stop” remodeling experience!"
