4th of July Denver Style

Denver is the perfect place to be for the long holiday weekend, July 1-4, 2022! Fourth of July celebrations are back with a bang this year, after a relatively quiet 2021 defined by scaled-back fireworks and canceled events in 2020 at the height of the pandemic.

Read on to plan your best 4th of July ever!

Fireworks

Colorado is in high fire danger, and we are all reeling from the loss of 1000+ homes earlier this year to the Marshall Fire. Due to ongoing drought conditions and predictions of an above-average hot and dry summer forecast, personal fireworks ban remains in place. Event organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel fireworks in Englewood, Littleton, and Sheridan, along with Arapahoe County. There are, however, a handful of local displays to see near the Denver metro area.
