Featured Remodel #2013 by Project Manager, Paul Moore

We recently wrapped up a home remodeling project in our hometown, Littleton, Colorado. This project was an absolute gem including the homeowners! Not only did the project go smoothly with limited issues, we finished the remodel almost a month earlier than anticipated.

This project consisted of a kitchen remodel, a family room update, new fireplace and new flooring throughout the main area. Appliances were ordered well in advance and didn’t impact the timeline of our project. In addition, most of the footprint of the home remained intact and didn’t require much lumber. Take a look at our recent post, Realistic Construction Timelines | 2021 Edition.

During this remodel, while gaining access to gas pipes and electrical to the kitchen, the basement ceiling fell down due to a poor installation by a previous contractor. We pride ourselves in the work we do at Maverick. And even though it was not our team who installed the basement ceiling, it was our team who fixed the issue. We sometimes face situations where a previous contractor or original home builder made an error. Our team will communicate with our clients and fix issues so our homeowners are happy and ready to tackle their next project.

Our client on this project was extremely happy with their final result. Plus they had exquisite taste in their design choices! And even though they came to us with a plan for a whole house remodel, our team worked within their budget to check most of their must-haves off their list.
