Sweater weather is coming! And that means it’s time for your home’s seasonal maintenance. Taking steps now is key to keeping your home looking and functioning great as you transition into winter months.
We wish all we needed to do to prepare for fall was to break out the throw blankets and candles, and buy a decorative gourd or two. But unfortunately, being a homeowner comes with responsibilities. While everything may seem tip-top now, winter storms can bring cold temperatures, power failures, etc., and a little maintenance now will make your life easier later.

Realistic Construction Timelines | 2021 Edition
It goes without saying, people were VERY ready to kick off 2021! The feeling of a New Year brings about many new opportunities including a reset on the previous year. The ability to make New Year’s Resolutions, or what we like to call, New Year’s Commitments is refreshing. But as we entered 2021, we started feeling the impact of the previous year’s experiences.
1 Sheep 2 Sheep...
H2-OHH YEAH
March 22nd, 2021 officially marks the United Nations World Water Day. This year the focus is on the value of water, specifically what water means to each of us as humans that inhabit this beautiful planet of ours. So what a better way to not only talk about how important water is in the home, but how incredibly fortunate we are to live in this beautiful state. Colorado happens to be a headwater state and the origin of four major river basins, which supply water to seventeen downstream states and two countries. Now that’s worth recognizing!
February... A Month of Libations!
Renew The Home, Love The Home
February is known as the month of LOVE, which means we celebrate the rooms people tend to love the most throughout their home. When you think of what people love, you probably think of rooms like the living room or the master bathroom. But sometimes what people love most are the areas of their home that provide the best function. Areas like a laundry room, a mud room, a basement or even a closet. That’s right, people really love a closet! Well, a good closet.
Kitchens. Cabinets. Appliances. OH MY!
There is a reason for our ‘Wizard of Oz’ reference - designing your kitchen can either be a real ride through a tornado or a smooth ride through the clouds on a hot air balloon. Much like Dorothy experienced, following the yellow brick road through your kitchen design really does lead to the Emerald City!
So let’s follow the yellow brick road together!
New Years Resolution vs. Commitment
Most people look at the New Year as a time to reset and restart. For most, it’s a time to change their life for the better. Resolutions often include a new diet to lose weight, purchasing a gym membership also to lose weight, spending less time on social media, traveling and much more. While these are amazing resolutions, many people tend to drop their resolution within the first two months of the new year. Many failed resolutions are due to the fact that most people focus on the end goal instead of the journey. When the end goal isn’t met quickly, a person’s desire to continue dwindles. So, the question must be asked, is it better to make a New Years Resolution, or is it best to make a New Years Commitment where the journey is the focus?
Your Storage Solution
In anticipation of all the great gifts you’ll receive this holiday season, where exactly you’ll be storing all your new (and old) stuff?
Storage inside your home is essential. Pantries, bedroom closets, linen closets, built-ins and cabinets all provide great opportunities for storage within your home. But what if you need more space? Perhaps there is an under-utilized bedroom in the house that can be converted into a large closet. Or a wall that is ideal for ceiling-to-floor bookshelves. Or an unfinished basement that can be turned into additional living space. We’re just scratching the surface on your home’s potential. But, all it takes is a little bit of creativity and a plan. And, that’s how we can help you make more space and storage for your stuff!
