Whew! Who else is feeling the heat this summer? And by heat, we mean those 90+ degree days we’ve been seeing. Fortunately for us, we’ve been busy renewing homes and renewing lives throughout Ken Caryl, Colorado and beyond to be too weighed down by the heat.
Now, usually we share a featured remodel, which dives into a home remodel after we have closed out a project. If you haven’t read one of these, we highly recommend it. Here’s one for ya! This time around, however, we figured we’d shake things up a bit and share some in-progress home renovations! Because, who doesn’t love a behind the scenes look?
Project 2506 - Whole Home Remodel
Our first look is at a whole home remodel we are working on in Greenwood Village, Colorado. In this home renovation, we are renewing their kitchen, all bedrooms, all bathrooms, laundry room, fireplace as well as an entire basement finish – a full top-down home remodel. We love these projects as it offers our clients a full home transformation, and what better way to renew your life by renewing your entire home.
This project is currently in drywall, which officially means we’ve hit our halfway mark. With a slated completion date in December, we now are moving into our “dress-up” phase, which means we will be adding in cabinetry, paint, appliances and more. Check out some of our in-progress photos below!
Project 2507 - Basement + Primary Bedroom & Bathroom Remodel
Our next project is a full basement renovation and primary suite remodel located in Conifer, Colorado. This is actually a second phase remodel after the successful completion of their main level home renovation. You can read more on this remodel here.
In this basement remodel, we are redoing the entire basement with a new configuration. We will be adding in a bar area, family room, entertainment area with built-in bookcase, a bedroom, and a much bigger bathroom that will include a huge steam shower and heated floors.
We are also working on updating their primary bedroom and bathroom. In this space, we will be updating the entire bathroom adding heated floors and a steam shower.
We are currently in the process of adding in trim and paint, and should have this next phase of this home remodel wrapped up in 4 - 6 weeks.
Project 2403 - Full Basement Remodel
The next project in progress is a full basement remodel located in Littleton, Colorado. This remodel comes after the basement was mitigated from an unfortunate flood. Currently, we just completed the rough inspection phase, which means our team has finished initial building inspections so we can proceed with installing drywall and tile.
This particular remodel has presented quite a few challenges related to the foundation. Unfortunately, a previous builder had cut some floor joists and the structural micro lam beam was notched out, which didn’t comply with the building code. At Maverick, we find great value in doing work correctly, so we have worked together to provide solutions that keep the home safe while also achieving the homeowners’ design desires.
Project 2501 - Second Level Home Remodel
Our final home renovation is located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on the 2nd level of this home. This project includes remodeling the hallway bathroom and upgrading the bedrooms by removing the popcorn ceiling, retexturing, and installing new doors, flooring, trim, and paint.
We have finished site prep phase, completed plumbing, and are now in the process of completing building inspection. This has been a great project with no issues. We should see this project wrapping up in the next couple of months!
